Sarah Jessica Parker & Matthew Broderick Making the Perfect Nursery
Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick are reportedly going all out when it comes to decorating the nursery for their impending twins. What else would you expect for the princess offspring of Carrie Bradshaw and the toast of Broadway?
While the pair only a month ago confirmed that they were expecting twin girls via surrogate, they have already reportedly dropped more than $20,000 on the nursery. According to OK magazine, the couple spent $6000 on a day bed, $6500 on an armoire and $4800 on a double crib, and bought a $1500 rocking horse to be sent from Europe to their New York home. Surprisingly, the theme is not the Big Apple, but classical French.
A source close to the couple explained: “Sarah Jessica and Matthew will spend whatever it takes to make the nursery perfect.”
The famous duo have a six-year-old son James Wilkie, but the Sex and the City star is already thinking about the twins’ wardrobes and has been contacting her friends in the fashion world for exclusive garments. “Sarah Jessica loves Isaac Mizrahi’s tutu dresses and she’s planning to commission him to make personalised versions for her girls. She’s also fallen in love with baby Ugg boots for the cold New York winters.” Sounds like we’re going to see some extremely fashionable babies soon!
