The WE Network, which brings in millions of viewers each week to watch over the top fairy tale weddings on their hit show “Platinum Weddings” is expanding to the next phase of life in extravagance. Their new show “Platinum Babies” will debut on Friday, November 6, introducing viewers to a world of lucky babies and the wealthy couples who spare no expense celebrating their upcoming arrival and decorating their lavish nurseries. Forget silver kids, these are the platinum and diamond encrusted spoon babies.
Each parent thinks they’ll do anything for their children, but the parents of “Platinum Babies” do everything for them, sparing no expense along the way. Ever dream of what it might be like to have a baby shower cost $300,000 or own a Versace diaper bag? Then this is the show for you. There is no luxury too lavish for these expecting parents and they will make sure that there is no dollar amount to great to ensure that their little ones will have the best of everything right from birth.

In the first episode we meet Victoria Recano, KTLA’s news anchor, and her husband Tom Burwell. We follow them on their pregnancy planning voyage as they hire top-notch baby and event planners and designers and tag along as she takes interior decorator Dana Norris Doumani along to shop for a star-studded nursery for her baby. Later, Victoria will head off to a trendy Beverly Hills baby boutique where all of Hollywood’s elite buy their baby’s clothes along with Natalie Klein, celebrity baby planner of the Hot Moms Club to register for her baby clothes and gifts as well as gift bags for Victoria’s upcoming shower that exceed $1500 worth of products for the lucky guests. The baby shower itself is a red-carpet worthy event, complete with custom cocktails, paparazzi and oodles of elegant presents and delicious food at a trendy Sunset Boulevard location.
